KETHEA offers adolescents, young adults and their families therapeutic programmes tailored to their specific needs. Teens in the early stages of drug use and their families can participate in early intervention programmes. Outpatient therapeutic programmes can provide teenagers who abuse or are dependent on drugs with a longer-term and more systematic therapy regime which can include accommodation in a hostel, where required.
KETHEA’s programmes for teenagers stress:
- putting the participant back in touch with the educational process, or strengthening their links to it,
- taking part in recreational and creative activities as alternatives to a way of life based on substance abuse,
- improving their relationship with their families, whose participation is a crucial factor in successful treatment.
